ALLAMUMMA S’ALLI A’LAA MUH’AMMADIN’W WA AALI MUHAMMAD |
O Allah! Send blessings on Muhammad and on the children of Muhammad. |
| BISMILLAAHIR- RAHMAANIR-RAH’EEM |
In th name of Allah, the Beneficent the Merciful. |
| ASH-HADU AN LAA ILLAAHA ILLAALLAAHU WAH’DAHOO LAA SHAREEKA LAHOO WA ASH-HADU ANNAKA RASOLUHOO WA ANNAKA MUH’AMMADUBNU A’BDILLAAH WA ASH-HADU ANNAKA QAD BALLAGTA RISALAATI RABBIKA WA NAS’AH’TA LI-UMMATIKA WA JAAHADTA FEE SABEELILLAAH BIL-H’IKMATI WAL MAW-I’Z’ATIL H’ASANAH WA ADDYTALLAD’EE A’LYKA MINAL H’AQQ WA ANNAKA QADRA-UFTA BIL MOO-MINEEN WA GHALAZ’TA A’LAL KAAFIREEN WA A’BADTALLAAH MUKHLIS’AN H’ATTAA ATAA- KAL YAQEEN |
I testify that there is no god save Allah; He is One; there is no associate (partner)with Him. I testify that you are His Messenger, and you are Muhammad son of Abdullah; and I testify that you had delivered the Message of your Lord, advised and warned your followers (Ummah) like a sincere friend, and strived, leaving no stone unturned, against heavy odds, in the cause of Allah, with wisdom and good advice. strong and powerful support from the Truthful (Allah), was put at your disposal; (and) you had been kind and compassionate to the believers, (but) was harsh with the disbelievers, and had sincerely served Allah, till the inevitable (what was certain) came unto you. |
| FA-BALAGHALLAAHU BIKA ASHRAFA MAH’ALLIL MUKARRAMEEN | So Allah made you reach the highest stage of glory and honour. |
| ALH’AMDULILLAAHIL LAD’IS-TANQAD’ANAA BIKA MINASH SHIRKI WAZ”Z”ALAAL |
(All) praise is for Allah (only) who saved us through you from the polytheism and going astray. |
| ALLAHUMMA S’ALLI A’LAA MUH’AMMADIN’W
WA AALIHEE WAJAL S’ALAWAATIKA WA S’ALAWAATI MALAA- IKATIKA WA AMBIYAA-IKA WAL MURSALEEN WAI’BAADIKAS’ S’AALIH’EENA WA AHLIS SAMAAWATI WAL ARZ’EEN WA MAN SABBAH’A LAKA YAA RABBAL A’ALAMEEN MINAL AWWALEENA WAL AAKHIREEN A’LAA MUHAMMADIN A’BDIKA WA RASOOLIKA WA NABIYYIKA WA AMEENIKA WA NAJEEBIKA WA H’ABEEBIKA WA S’AFIYYIKA WA S’IFWATIKA WA KHAAS’S’ATIKA WA KHAALIS’ATIKA WA KHIYARATIKA MIN KHALQIKA WA AA’-T’IHIL FAZ”LA WAL FAZ”EELATA WAL WASEELATA WAD DARAJATAR RAFEE- A’ TA WAB-A’TH-HU MAQAAMAN MAH’MOODAA YAGHBIT’UHU BIHIL AWAALOONA WAL AAKHIROON |
O Allah! Send blessings on Muhammad and on his children. Thy blessings and invocations of thy Angels, (of) Thy Prophets and Messengers, (of) Thy pious servants, (of) the people of the heavens and the earths, and (of) those who glorify Thee, (O the Lord of the worlds), from among the ancient and the present, be on Muhammad, Thy servant and Messenger, Thy Prophet, Thy confidant, Thy volunteer, Thy intimate friend, sincerely attached to Thee, purified by Thee, Thy favourite, the best essence from Thee, chosen in preference by Thee from Thy creation, and gave him surpassing superiority and eminence in wisdom and character, subtle ways and means, highest stations, and put him on the pedestal of (praiseworthy) fame and fortune; found his position enviable the men of old and the men of later time. |
| ALLAA HUMMA INNAKA QULTA “WA LAW ANNAHUM ID’Z’ALAMOOO AN’FUSAHUM JAAA-UKA FASTAGHFARULLAAHA WASTAGHFARA LAHUMUR RASOOLU LAWAJADULLAAHA TAWWAABAR RAHEEMAA“ |
O Allah, Thou said: “And if, when they had wronged themselves, they had but come unto you and asked forgiveness of Allah, and asked forgiveness of the Messenger, they would have found Allah forgiving, Merciful.” |
| ILLAAHEE FAQAD ATAYTU NABIYYIKA MUSTAGFIRAN TAAA-IBAN MIN D’UNOOBEE |
O my Allah, therefore I turn repentant to Thy Prophet (S.A.), asking pardon for my sins, |
| FASA’LLI A’LAA MUH’AMMADIN’W WA AALIHII WAGHFIRHAA LEE |
(so send blessing on Muhammad and on his children), and be kind to me. |
| YAA SAYYIDANAA ATAWAJJAHU BIKA WA BI-AHLI BAYTIKA ILALLAAHI TA-A’ALAA RABBIKA WA RABEE LI YAGHFIRALEE |
O our chief, direct yourself, and your “Ahluh Bayt” towards the Most praised Allah, Thy Lord and my Lord, in the matter of my request |
| 3 TIMES (INNAA LILLAAHI WA INNAA ILAYHI RAA-JI-O’ON) |
Recite 3 times: for verily we are Allah’s and verily unto Him shall we return. |
| US’IBNAA BIKA YAA H’ABEEB QULOOBINAA FAMAA AA-ZAMAL MUS’EEBATA BIKA H’AYTHUN- QAT’A-A’ A’NNAL WAH’YU WA H’AYTHU FAQAD NAAKA FA-INNAA ILAYHI WA INNAA ILAYHI RAA-JI-O’ON |
With love and longing for you, we move, O dearest friend, in your direction, because the misery has increased, since revelation (Wahi) has been cut off, and we lost you. Verify we are Allah’s; and verily unto Him shall we return. |
| YA SAYIDANAA YAA RASOOLALLAAH S’ALAWAATULLAAHI A’LYKA WA A’LAA AALI BAYTIKAT’ T’AAHIREENAT’ TAYYIBEEN HAAD’AA YAWMUS SABTI WA HUWA YAWMUKA WA ANAA FEEHI Z”AYFUKA WA JAARUKA |
O our Chief! O our Messenger of Allah! Blessings of Allah be on you and on the pure and pious people of your house. Today is Saturday, your day, and I in its hours, take refuge with you; seek your nearness, |
| FA-AZ”IFNEE WA AJIRNEE FA-INNAKA KAREEMUN TUH’IBBUZ” Z”IYAAFATA WA MAAMOORUN BIL IJAARAH FA-AZ”IFNEE WA AH”SIN Z”IYAAFATEE WA AJIRNAA WA AH’SIN Z”IYAAFATEE WA AJIRNAA WA AH’SIN IJAARATANAA |
(so) receive me with open arms, let me be near you, because you are very kind, love to be hospitable, chosen and assigned to give asylum and refuge, (therefore) make me feel at home, a most generous friendly welcome, take us under your shelter, a most reliable protection; |
| BI MANZILATILLAAHI I’NDAKA WA I’NDA AALI BAYTIKA WA BI-MANZILATIHIM I’NDAHU WA BIMAS-TAWDA-A’KUM MIN I’LMIHEE FA-INNAHOO AKRAMUL AKRAMEEN |
in the name and for the sake of your belief in Allah, |
| ALLAHUMMA S’ALLI A’LAA MUH’AMMADIN WAA AALI MUH’AMMAD. |
O Allah! Send blessings on Muhammad and on the children of Muhammad. |
RECITE THE FOLLOW SALAAM FOR THE HOLY PROPHET (S.A.): |
Recite the following “Salaam” for the Holy Prophet (S.A.): |
| ALLAHUMMA S’ALLI A’LAA MUH’AMMADIN W WA AALI MUH’AMMAD |
O Allah! Send blessings on Muhammad and on the children Muhammad. |
| BISMILLAHIR- RAH’MAANIR- RAH’EEM |
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent the Merciful. |
| ASSALAAMU A’LAYKA YAA RASOOLALLAAHI WA RAH’MATULLAAHI WA BARAKAATUH |
Peace be on you, O Messenger of Allah, and (also) mercy of Allah and His abundant blessings. |
| ASSALAAMU A’LAYKA YAA MUH’AMMADABNA A’BDILLAAH | Peace be on you, O Muhammad son of Abdullah. |
| ASSALAMU A’LYKA YAA KHIYARATALLAH | Peace by on you, O absolute goodness from Allah, |
| ASSALAAMU A’LAYKA YAA H’ABEEBALLAAH | Peace be on you, O intimate friend of Allah, |
| ASSALAAMU A’LAYKA YAA S’IFWATALLAH | Peace by on you, O sincere comrade of Allah, |
| ASSALAAM A’LAYKA YAA AMEENALLAH | Peace be on you, O reliable confident of Allah, |
| ASH-HADU ANNAKA RASOOLULLLAAHI WA ASH- HADU ANNAKA MUH’AMMDUBNU A’BDILLAAAH WA ASH-HADU ANNNAKA QAD NAS’AH’TA LI-UMMATIKA WA JAAHADTA FEE SABEELI RABBIKA WA A’BADTAHU H’ATTAA ATAA-KAL YAQEEN |
I bear witness that you are the Messenger of Allah; I bear witness that you are Muhammad son of Adbullah; I bear witness that you sincerely advised and warned your followers (Ummah), and strived, leaving no stone unturned, against heavy odds, in the way of your Lord, carried out His mission till the inevitable (what was certain) came unto you, |
| FA-JAZAAKALLAH YA RASOOLALLAHI AFZ”ALA MAA JAZAA NABIYYAN A’N UMMATIHEE |
Therefore reward of Allah (is) for you, O Messenger of Allah, more and better reward than given to any Prophet with regard to and on account of his people. |
| ALLAHUMMMA S’ALLI A’LAA MUH’AMMADIN’ W WA AALI MUH’AMMAD |
O my Allah send blessings on Muhammad and on the children of Muhammad, |
| AFZ”ALA MAA S’ALLAYTA A’LAA IBRAHEEMA WA AALI IBRAAHEEM INNAKA H’AMEEDUN MAJEED |
more and better than Thou sent on Ibraheem and on the children of Ibraheem. Verily Thou art Owner of praise, Owner of glory. |
